ABOUT HOMETOWN TIRE AND AUTO
Hometown Tire and Auto is a locally owned automotive repair shop in Tooele, Utah, built on one core belief: if a job’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right. That philosophy took shape over 20 years of hands-on mechanical experience across diesel, industrial, and passenger vehicles, growing from word-of-mouth work out of a home garage into a full commercial shop. On October 20, 2025, new ownership took over, building on what was already there while bringing added standards, experience, and long-term vision to the business.
Today, our team brings more than 70 years of combined hands-on mechanical experience to the vehicles we service, working on Asian, European, and American makes and models alike. We approach every job the same way: understand the problem, fix it correctly, and don’t cut corners, giving our customers clear answers, honest recommendations, and repairs done right the first time. As we continue to grow and serve more drivers across Tooele County, that standard won’t change.
